Calling all Nurses who were hippies.

I was going through old photographs last night and came acros some of me when I was a hippy and was remembering those days.

I was a "late-blooming" hippy at 30 yrs. of age, in Marin County CA. Did the "back to the land" thing for about 4 years.

Am wondering, anymore "old hippies" out there?

Would love to swap stories.

I graduated from a southern cal coastal town in san louis obispo county, saw " Dazed and Confussed" so true, my hat is off to the script writers, all of us who played in the backfield of the HS football team, rode to school each am in a rebuilt hot rod, 57 chevy, when we rolled out of the car at school, the smoke literally rolled out with us, " Fast Times At Ridgemont High ", cruising was still the thing to do, my prarents graduated in the "60's", " American Graffitti " brougth my parents back to life, never heard the end of Beach Boy's music or Elvis after that. I'll never forget those days or the people I grew up with, went back for my 20 yr reunion and nothing changed between us, except the gray hair.:lol2: :smokin: Could tell more but this site wouldn't allow it.:smokin:

They say that if you can remember the 60s, that you really weren't there :rotfl:

Wish that I could say so. I think I was born a little late. LOL............. Would love to hear the stories. And also I would ask...........Did you "sell out" or have you been able to hold your beliefs over time? I try so hard, some days it is tough. I hope I can stay idealistic.

Any way sorry for that...............

I would love to hear your stories . If you might share.

Thanks

and

Much Peace.

My kids think I was a hippy by the way I dressed but I graduated high school in 1975 so I also lived through the disco days.

I do distinctly remember the 60's though.

I'm a 70s guy, but probably would have been a hippy had I been born a little sonner. I distinctly remember wearing "love beads" and "peace signs" when I was a kid in the 60s.
