Calling all current cns students

Hey I am a CNS student. My gosh it is like finding a needle in a haystack! How is school life going for you! Have you started your clinicals yet? How much longer do you have till graduation?

I start my clinicals in the fall and am really excited! That is only if I survive this summer semester-- it is grueling!!!

Hi Tyloo. I'm heading into my last set of clinicals. Thank goodness my school does not do summer school. Only CNS in a program of 14 NP students. Lol. I feel very special. Lol. So far 1st clinical rotation I did staff development for a CV service line, 2nd set I did palliative care and fell in love, next and last set this fall I hope to do some pain management (with a NP) and more palliative care (at a different institution). Can't find anymore CNS preceptors so I am going to sell using a NP to program director.

Lol. We are very few in numbers. No I haven't started looking for jobs as yet bc I'm worried about my cert exam what with so little review material available. Found something on amazon (a 6 CD review course). Bought it and the CDs were blank so I gave CS a piece of my mind. They are resending. I will let u guys know if it's worth it or not.

Hello everyone, and thanks to nicholein. Never knew I could find students like me here. I start clinicals in the fall, hope to love it.

Right now I'm taking pharmacology. It sucks. Interesting class though.
