on call guidelines

What types of on call guidelines do you use at your agency? We don't have any the moment and are looking into it (like a triage type book). I have been in home health for 8 months now and love it, but am still very nervous when it comes to taking call and I would love to have something backing my advice up (as well as other RN's) I think it is important to give consistent advice. Any thoughts...

No advice in our oncall manual: just info on branch staff, how to take referral, caller log etc....will look to see if I can post some of it.
