Which class are you referring to???
well..like can you just carry a calculator in your backpack and pull it out if you got stumped in any class...i guess i'm just a bit nervous, i did pretty average on my assessment testing, but a bit low on math..and so it seems its all i'm thinking of.

In my school, calculators were not allowed for any NURSING course, including anything that required calculation of dosages. We also had to take a calculations exam at the beginning of every semester without the calculator. And we couldn't have them in clinicals.
We were allowed to use calculators for non nursing courses, such as algebra and chemistry.

if you do a search of the forums, there are several posts regarding the use of calculators. a few i found were: calculator not permitted?! , calculators. calculators??? . what it all boils down to is the school itself.
