Order .5 tablets On hand .8 tablets

Is it still the same method

Dose Desired/Dose on Hand (Just minus the x mL)

dose desired/dose on hand (just x ml--or amount the dose on hand comes in, in this case, one tablet)

yes. same formula.
0.5mg
(dose desired)
/0.8mg
(dose on hand)
= 0.625 tablet
(amount to give)

i would probably make that 1/2 tablet and 1/4 tablet.
