c-section in Manila

Hello Everyone! I am just wondering what the cost of c-section is in Manila? I mean, the "estimated cost" of the overall delivery...thanks.

It really depends. I had 2 cesareans here in Manila. One at Capitol Medical, package deal with the resident doing the csection with the supervision of someone seasoned at this though for 19,500... I hear it's now 25,000.

But I know in some of the popular hospitals cesarean can cost 60 even up to 120thousand pesos.

Just had my last cesarean in 2005 at Delgado Memorial in Kamuning and it cost me 40thou package deal in a semi private room. I liked the latter one. If you'd like to know who my doctor is, I can tell you she is very very nice. It would be helpful if you can sign up for Philhealth before getting pregnant coz it pays about half of the expenses. For me, they paid 17,000+ I was lucky coz as soon as I found out I was pregnant I signed up for Philhealth for 1,200 a year. And I was covered, even if the requirement was to be a member at least 9 months before the date of delivery. I think I qualified coz they count the fees in quarters, so if I remember right you pay for January and February in March...

Hi, mine was 6 years ago at St lukes, i forgot the amount but between 65-75k. lots of luv is right it is better to be a philhealth member, it was too late when I learned about it
