Thursday is procedure day for our Onc patients so we always admit a bunch on that day. Everyone knows it so they try to avoid it like the plague :D

Monday- all the scoliosis surgeries happen on Monday. Also, all the central line dressings get changed on Mondays.

I request every Monday off........

I work Urgent Care/Occupational Health. Mondays are our busiest day because most people are unable to get into their PCP on Mondays or their DER doesn't answer the phone on the weekend when they get into a minor accident.

It's sad- I've seen some people come in 2-3 days later with bad breaks requiring surgery who waited because their company policy is ridiculous. These are major companies, too, that make hundreds of millions of dollars. Sorry to get sidetracked there. But yes, Mondays...

I work Post-partum and Thur/Fri are our busiest days. Usually that is when the OB's like to schedule their C-sections and induce...
