Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone knows any traditional BSN programs that don't require letters of reference and accepts transfer students?
I'm aware that most do, but if there are any that don't, I'd like to take a look at them and start applying ASAP since i want to transfer during fall 2015 semester.
Thanks for your help!

Is there a specific reason you don't want to provide recommendations? They're pretty painless in my experience...

The CSUs in CA don't require letters of recommendation. In fact, no program I saw in CA requires them (based on my application experience in 2011). However, CA schools are EXTREMELY competitive, and most give preference to CA resident students.

I second RunBabyRN. I live in Cali and attend a CSU, and none of the programs that I researched while I was applying for prereqs required letters of recommendation for nursing entry. They ARE very competitive however and they do favor local students and non-transfers. To put in perspective how competitive they are, even local non-transfer students should have at least a 3.6 prereq GPA and a 3.7/3.8 science GPA or don't even bother applying. So far in my prereqs (I only have 4 left), it hasn't been AS hard as it sounds IF you're dedicated 100% to school.
