BSN program in MD??

Hello guys. I'm thinking of getting my BSN and just wondering what schools in MD or ONLINE I can get this at. Also, I would prefer the school with low tuition as I already have nearly 30K in student loans.

Actually, I'm not a RN, but looking into BSN. Are there any BSN both online and classroom that's affordable that I can do in MD??

If you go to the MD BON website, you should be able to find a list of programs that are approved. From there, you can do research to see what is offered in your area. You will not find a 100% online pre-licensure program.

Your state board of nursing website will have a list of approved BSN programs with campuses in Maryland.

As far as online LPN-to-BSN programs are concerned, Indiana State University's program is the most popular and advertised.

Yes, I just went there. Thanks a bunch. I was hoping Excelcer would be there also, but it wasn't.

Thanks a bunch. I've looked into it and I've found Indiana State to be the only LPN-BSN online program

I also found that WGU has an online BSN program, but only in certain states. I wonder is I say I live in one of those states, they'll let me apply for their BSN program.Hmmmm.......

I don't know why people don't just come out and say it: University of Maryland at Baltimore has a School of Nursing with a BSN program. It's traditional far as I know, but you can do a CNL program if you already have a bachelors elsewhere. It's probably a good value if you're a resident of MD.

The other one is JHU Hopkins School of Nursing; they have a direct entry MSN program if you already have another bachelors. Tuition is $$$, but if you can get a scholarship that might help.

Those are the most reputable programs I know; there's also GWU in DC and Georgetown, but those are $$$. Hope this helps.

You do NOT have to live in those states BUT you have to travel to them for clinical intensives 4 times/ year for two weeks at a time.

Hi! Frostburg has an online BSN program, that I am sure of. Some community colleges have transfer programs in place. I believe that some of the classes that are required for the BSN but not for the RN can be completed at the community college for less $$ The transferred..
