Brookhaven Nursing Program 2012 Class

Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.

Talking about nervous, that's me. I'm arriving super early to make time for any mishaps. :)

I kinda wish my interview was tomorrow instead of Thursday just to have it over with!!! I had to go to the dentist too, Mia, but it wasn't painful really...I got my teeth whitened!! So sorry your mouth hurts..take some ibuprofen in case of swelling.

I'm going to be leaving around 2 so I can have plenty of time to get there. I asked the woman on the phone if I needed to bring a resume or anything, she said no just bring myself. It feels odd that I won't be carrying anything in with me.

Thank you for asking! She told me on the phone "professional interview," so I thought I needed to bring a resume. Glad to know a definitive answer! So nervous...

Good luck!! Let us know how it goes :)

Escape - I think I was sitting next to you in the lab before interviews!! I didn't realize it until I left and was thinking about what you said about being locked out when you took the HESI. Then I thought, wait a minute... :)

How did the interviews go?? :)

Mine went okay... they were situational questions, e.g. "tell me about a time when..." I wasn't prepared! I think I probably got around a 3 out of 5 points... so it could have gone better. I won't be able to think about anything else until emails go out!

SugarMagnolia, you put your best foot forward and that is really all that anyone can ever expect...besides, everyone is going to be nervous! And it never goes exactly how one would expect it to. I'm sure you did just fine.
