Brookhaven Nursing Program 2012 Class

Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.

good luck, KellyLeigh!! What time, Thursday, is your interview? ?

I also got myself a pedicure, and I found that lounging at the bookstore browsing through everything is a great relaxer. I'm ready for this to be done with so I can get back to my classes I haven't been able to focus on. Well anyways....Good luck everybody!!!

That's on tomorrow's agenda for me, escapebigd!! Gotta get the nails looking fabulous!! :) Just go in there and knock it out of the park tomorrow, Ladies, and good luck to all of you!!!

Are y'all bringing anything with you for the interviewers? Resume, any of your app materials, HESI score...?

I had 32.73 points and taking the dosage calculation class this month so I'll be done before Jan. I'm hoping the interview goes well thursday...my time is 9am. I can't help but be nervous, but it's more excited. I've applied once before so I'm just ready to get started!!

32.73 is a great score! Rock the interview and I bet you'll get in!

Good evening ladies, I had to get a tooth pulled today and my mouth is really hurting. This would have to take place the day before my interview, and it having me talking weird. Despite this, I still plan to ace my interview. I don't intend on bringing anything, but I do intend to read the nursing website just to gain a little history.

Aw no I'm sorry about your tooth! I've had a lot of dental surgery so I feel for ya... I had to get one pulled last October pretty suddenly. Basically I'm short a molar haha! Get some good sleep, maybe practice talking before you go in tomorrow. Talking more slowly than normal will probably help too!

Lol, that made me laugh. Thanks. I know, I am talking slower than usual. Imagine my group interview with 5 and here I am talking all slow, that's a total nightmare. Hopefully, I'll feel a whole lot better tomorrow. It's too bad we won't recognize each other since I happen to be the first runner up out the group so far.

Yep, sounds like you'll be leaving right as I'm going in!

I felt pretty calm about the interview all day but now I'm starting to get really nervous!

Ha wrong smiley there. Didn't realize he'd eventually have a great idea... that part hasn't happened yet :)
