Hello,
I am currently taking Pre-health and I'm taking my last term, and I want to know the bridging process of rpn-bscn. I still haven't figure out which way I wanted to start, but as of now I am planning to do RPN and take BSCN later on, but I am not sure how long would that process will take me. I hope you guys can answer my question.
Thank you

Typically it takes 3 years to bridge. Some bridging programs have requirements such a certain average (usually 85%) and/or no failed classes.
You mean 2 years of RPN and 1 year of BSCN?

No. You can become an RPN by taking the 2 year diploma program. If you choose to bridge to BScN after you finish it takes an additional 3 years, so 5 years total.

Right. 5 years in total.

In Ontario minimum 5 years. To do the full time bridge programs, you need really good grades in the RPN program as the bridge is high competitive. There are also some online part time courses as well.

Does anyone know what the GPA requirement is to bridge from RPN to RN in UOttawa? I currently have a 3.41 and I know the program can be super competitive. Should I be worried? Also I remember seeing somewhere that you need to have a 4.0 GPA in the first full-time year at UOttawa to be able to get admission into year 3 of the RN program; does that mean you need like an A+ or is UOttawa's GPA system different?
