BRCC's Nursing Program

I am very interested in attending BRCC's nursing program, the only thing is I have heard that they only have 60 postions available and I am wondering how to Enusre that i have a spot. Anyone how has any information or is attending BRCC, any information will help me out greatly.

yes, i have applied for the bridge program. if i successfully pass both fundamentals and adult 1, i get to interview and then take mental health nsg over the summer in order to join the rest of the class in the fall. :specs:

has BRCC aquired accreditation for their nursing program?

They are accredited/approved by the state, but they can't get nationally accredited until the first class graduated in May 2009!

hi everyone, i have a lot of questions about baton rouge community college program is there anyone who are already in the nursing program that can give me some insight on what to expect for the fall of 08 if selected.and i've heard the nursing math is hard please feel me in with some info on the program overall.:cool:

I'm currently in the nursing program and honestly the math is not HARD. If you can do simple math, subtraction, multiplication and division, you should pass it. If you don't pass it the first time, they give you 2 more chances I think. However, most of the class passed it the first time.

i've applied as well for the fall 08, is there anyone in the program right now.

so how is the program are the nursing classes hard, are the clinicals hard and i have heard so many rumors about you guys losing so many nursing students is there any truth to that. sorry to be asking so many questions i just curious about the overall program.:heartbeat
