Hello,

I've applied to Boston College's Master's Entry Program for 2011. Has anyone else applied? If so, have you heard back yet?

Moved to the post-grad forum (vs. the GN forum) to encourage responses.

I applied to the BC direct entry program. No word so far.

what is the link to the post-grad forum referred to above? I can't seem to find it....

I also applied to the Master's Entry program for the fall of 2011 and have not heard anything. According to last year's posts on this site they starting hearing on Jan. 28th.

I did apply to the direct-entry program as well. No word so far!!

I just received an email today and I was accepted!!

Congrats RJ! What program did you apply in? I also got the email today - I applied in the FNP specialty.

Congratulations to you too! I applied to the ANP. Wondering how many applied this year?? I think that I remember that they have 32 spots...not sure if I am correct in that or not.

Yes, I remember it being a small number. I am not sure how many people they generally accept to yield that number, however, and how many people are in each specialty. We are very lucky, however. It sounds like quite a few people on this board have been lucky today re: BC....

Hi everyone, I can't tell you how excited I am to also have received an acceptance email last Thursday morning (2/10/11). Do you know if we will have any type of session or gathering to meet new students? We have many months to go and it will be nice to get to know our classmates.

Hello!

I am a current BC student in the first year of the master's entry program! Willing to answer any questions you might have!

To answer catb - unfortunately BC is not the greatest at setting up meetings or keeping you informed. You will be paired up with a 2nd year (someone from my class) at some point in the summer and you can ask them questions. The first official BC interaction is at orientation in September though.
