Today is the last day of school for me. I hope you all have a restful Summer break, see you in August.

    Getting to the finish line of a school year is a massive achievement. Enjoy every bit of the time off before the pace picks up again in August. Well deserved.

    Today is my last day as well and it has turned into a bona-fide school-wide party; Our 5th graders are doing their Hot Air Balloon Launch Watch from 9:15-10, then it's our inaugural school-wide Popsicles-on-the-Playground party until 11, then lunch, and dismissal! Faculty has to stay until 3:15, but we're having an ice cream social for our lunch and then it's just office pack up!

    I'll be back in July for our Summer school, but that's easy-peasy! It's still 6 weeks of vacay!

    We've been out since just before Memorial Day. I don't go back until mid-August. I'll be back two days before the students. One to get the office opened up (but I left it in good shape) and then to deal with the handful of students I'll get the day before we open.
