I have a lab practical coming up in A&P and we will have to name the body part and what region it is in also what system and what it does (yh, I have the HARDEST instructor) anyway, I checked the listed sites and can not find Body regions, they are of course in my book but I like working on the net better. Any ideas?

http://www.msjensen.gen.umn.edu/webanatomy/intro_topics/default.html Try this link to Web Anatomy by the University of Minnesota. Organ systems, body cavities and body regions. Each of the links will take you to a page of pictures to practice labeling. I think this will help you a lot. I suggest you go to the home page of this site and bookmark it. This site has all kinds of pictures to practice labeling for all the different body systems.
http://wps.prenhall.com/chet_rice_terminolog_2/0,4681,198650-,00.html This is a link to a student activity site for a medical terminology textbook. There is a drop down box at the upper left where you can link into activities for each of the listed chapters which are organized by body systems. In many of them are some items to label. Since these are designed for a basic medical terminology class, they are very basic which is what you want to start with to help with your understanding of these things.
http://www.sirinet.net/~jgjohnso/intro.html This web page is from a high school A&P class. These are the introductory notes. Organization of the body and body cavities as well as a table of the body systems and what major body structure are contained in them is here. If you go to the home page for this site http://www.sirinet.net/~jgjohnso/biologyII.html you can also find links into a quiz on this material (no answers though--remember this is a site for HS kids) and some diagrams to label. They are for Chapter 46 - Essentials of Human Anatomy/Physiology Notes. The links for information relating to this material is on the right hand side of the page. I strongly suggest you also bookmark this site to help you with your studies.
Happy studying!

I did this through notecards. I didn't may much attention what body parts are where, but I cut out a bunch of underwear models from department store ads and took a black perminant marker and drew the different regions on the model. For the note card I pointed to a drawn on region and had the answer on the back. Odd, but effective.
Thanks. Just did a practice and got 6/6 hope I can do that on my test. Learning the functions are the hard part:(
