BLS or ACLS

Hi everyone! I just want to ask if I can tke ACLS course without having BLS? thank u

    No, BLS cert is required beforehand & quite frankly, a large portion of the ACLS test is basic BLS knowledge.

    And you will need to keep both active, not just ACLS. Don't be a dummy like me - get them around the same time as each other so you can renew at the same time.

    Depending on the facility, they may be an all in one course. This is how my facility does it. This way, my BLS and ACLS always expire on the same date. No attending separate classes, no keeping track of separate expiration dates. However, we do have work that must be completed prior to being allowed to enter the classroom, including having taken and passed the BLS test.
