Hello!
I applied for Spring 2019 too and got my provisional acceptance on Friday! How did you do on your TEAS?
Hello! I also received my provisional acceptance from Blinn for Spring 2019. I can't wait! Did you apply anywhere else?
Me neither! I was really shocked to get in first round though. I'd asked what "priority decision" meant for those with all prerequisites finished, and from what they said I was not expecting to hear until later.
I didn't apply anywhere else, did you? Blinn was the only school I found that took courses in progress. I'm 30 years old and just didn't want to waste another semester waiting to get in if I didn't have to. Plus a lot of the other schools around require the HESI. I was set to take it and apply out if I didn't get into Blinn, but apparently A's in A&P I and Micro with a 91.3% on the TEAS was enough!
I'm still in shock though. The office said they had around 140 applications!

I've applied to Blinn Spring 2019 Nursing Program.
GPA: 3.67
TEAS: 70
Didn't do well on the TEAS due to working and going to school full time, and not having enough time to study. Hopefully it's good enough, but i've applied to other schools in hopes of getting in a good school.

That's a higher GPA than the average admitted last semester, so always a good sign. I hope you get in! Where else did you apply? If I didn't get in I was going to apply in Houston and Dallas, but I didn't want to have to take the HESI too. So glad I don't have to move now!
I hope it's good enough, but they seem to look at the TEAS more.
I've applied to Baptist Health System in San Antonio, the deadline is Oct 1st, and they give results 2 weeks after so I'll find out way sooner than then here. I also applied and was accepted into Galen School of Nursing BSN for the spring in San Antonio, but it's a very expensive school but if no one accepts me then i'll go there.
I wasn't expecting to hear anything until December, too, because I am currently taking Micro! I think if you have a decent GPA and Teas exam score, then they bumped you up for the first round regardless. Who did you have for Micro? I made an A for my first test ,but I am pretty nervous about this class. A&P I and II were a breeze compared to Micro.
I have applied to Texas A&M's second degree track and I am waiting to hear from them next month. I have a Bachelors degree in Radiation Therapy and was a Radiation Therapist for 4 Years. Ultimately I would love to get my BSN in the end, so being accepted to their program is ideal for me. I am 29 years old and not wanting to waste my time if I don't have too! I can't believe our nursing journey starts next semester! I can't be more excited!!

I had Stanford for Micro during the summer. The Lab practicals were the things that really made me nervous! The second lab practical is the "widow maker," so study hard and well.
A&P I was heaven for me. I'm a massage therapist and esthetician so skin, bones, muscles...no biggie. I'm in A&P II now and so far so good.
I'm in the unfortunate position of having an Associates in Paralegal studies from a California college and NOTHING will transfer. So I chose ADN, then I'll worry about RN to BSN, especially since A&M has an online option. I'd just rather get to working sooner.
