hi i want to know dose it pay more if one is bilingual thanks

I've never seen that.

Specializes in Geriatrics/Oncology/Psych/College Health.

Not worth a penny more monetarily in my experience (however, not having to wait for the interpreter to show up before you can do stuff: priceless!)

thanks was not sure i am just trying to find a cna class where i can get started at thanks for the help cristina

It depends where one works. I worked for a large hospital and the translators there had to take a test to prove they were bilingual. They got maybe 5-10 bucks a day extra for bilig pay.

Not where I work.

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.

Around here, being bilingual looks good on a resume but definitely not required.

Depending on where you live, and then only if you are a certified translator, and have documentation of the exams that you took and passed.
