Best study guides

Hello All,

I am about to graduate (yeah!!!!) and am looking for the best study guides for the NCLEX. I need to take the test as soon as possible (got kids to support) so I need to start studying now.

Any advice...on best study guides?

Thanks

RAchel

saunders ,that book is best for review, thats the only review book i used for stydying for nclex

mains ones that work for people here are Kaplan and Saunders but a lot will depend on your study style

I recommend Kaplan. I used Kaplan and I passed with 75 questions. It is expensive but it's worth it.

Which Kaplan book did you use? I have the Kaplan NCLEX-RN 2008-2009 "Strategies for the Registered nursing licensing exam" book. I am wondering if that along with "Cracking the NCLEX-RN" 8th edition by Princeton Review is enough for the exam.

I used Complete Kaplan course online. It is $500. I also have the Kaplan book 2010 I paid $25. The Kaplan course tells you a lot of information that you need to know in answering nclex-rn type of questions. the 2010 edition of Kaplan book only tells you small portions of Kaplan course online.

I still believed knowing the disease process,(that way you can identify, which one you prioritize) know the effects/side-effects of the medications, and know the nursing process, and practice Q and A. I used Saunders book and Kaplan Q and A online.

Review your content and practice questions in test mode to keep track of your progress.
