I recently got my CNA license and spent weeks looking for work. I wanted a position in a skilled nursing facility but, was unsuccessful. I did land one at a assisted living facility instead. Everything is different from what I've learned i my CNA training. I provide no bed baths, catheter care, nail/foot care, ect. I mainly check to see if residents are wet, and wipe them and help them into a brief if they are. I also dump trash, collect soiled linens, and help serve/transport in the dinning room. Will I be doing the same in a skilled nursing facility? I have an oppertinunity for a position, and wondering should I go for it.

You're not using any real CNA skills. I would go for the skilled nursing position. You will be doing actual CNA work. Turning patients, lifting them, providing baths, feeding residents, transporting, etc everything you learned in the nursing home. You'll probably get paid more for doing all of this work. I would seriously consider it.

Are you actually employed as a CNA or as a caregiver? I am trying to find a job as a CNA right now but keep only finding ones for 'caregivers' with roles similar to what you are describing. But yeah, if you can try to work at a LTC or Rehab so you can use your skills.
I'm employed as a CNA, I'm also required to take a med tech class and pass medsWe are a 65 bed facility with only 1 nurse available during day shift Monday -friday. I paid out $530 for my cna training to not use any at my current facility. I'm taking the other job.

Sounds like a good plan.
I'm working at my third SNF and basically it sounds like you aren't using all your skills like the others have said.
@forbidden2know yes I have books I could part with.
