  1. @forbidden2know yes I have books I could part with.
  2. I'm employed as a CNA, I'm also required to take a med tech class and pass medsWe are a 65 bed facility with only 1 nurse available during day shift Monday -friday. I paid out $530 for my cna training to not use any at my current facility. I'm taking the other job.
  3. I recently got my CNA license and spent weeks looking for work. I wanted a position in a skilled nursing facility but, was unsuccessful. I did land one at a assisted living facility instead. Everything is different from what I've learned i my CNA training. I provide no bed baths, catheter care, nail/foot care, ect. I mainly check to see if residents are wet, and wipe them and help them into a brief if they are. I also dump trash, collect soiled linens, and help serve/transport in the dinning room. Will I be doing the same in a skilled nursing facility? I have an oppertinunity for a position, and wondering should I go for it.
