Being an Immigrant Nurse

I am 33 years of Age a Registered Nurse (Diploma) from India. I am a new Immigrant to Canada. I have worked for four years and stopped working for last some years because of family tie up and responsibilities. I would like to start working in canada again as a nurse. Please let me know how could I start off. Your Valuable discussions are all welcome.

First off, contact the govering body for nurses and find out how to get your license there.

there are other sites on the net for all the other provinces.

I need more information. Like have your held a Canadian license? If not, you will have to write the Canadian boards and that is not something to be taken lightly.

If you have held a CA license that makes things a lot easier.
