BCIT September 2020 Intake

Is anybody applying to the Nursing program at BCIT?

Please discuss what type of marks you will be applying with and any other experience you'll be including with your application

Also, how is the Casper examination? Whats that process like?

I was on the top 10 for April, basically if your top 10, if you don't get in for sept (which is highly likely) then your 100% for January. At least that's how it was for us, we were guaranteed a seat for sept.

Congratulations to everyone that got in, see you guys in Sept!! ???

Does anyone know how to register to do the LIBS courses this Summer? I want to get them done beforehand if possible.

Select the course and add it to your cart. You need to pay ASAP either through online banking or in person. Hope this helps ?

Oh OK. Thanks. So you were in the wait list and now made it into September from that?

I’ve emailed them to see if that’s true I haven't heard back so IDK if I should take the LIBS classes until then.

I was actually offered my choice, if I wanted to start in April or Sept when they called me. She said since they hadn't started filling sept so both were available for me. I took Sept because it worked better with my life ?

I would recommend taking the lobs courses ASAP regardless, having them done is a huge perk from what I have heard from current students.

OK perfect thank you. I just want to get assurance that regardless I’m in for January because I’m top 10 for September, but definitely hoping for September ??

Also, I sort of looked at the top 10 waitlist as more like 'I got in, they had just filled the class before they got to my name' instead of 'everyone else did better so I am stuck in limbo' it helped me stay positive. If your top 10, you will be in the program.

Yes that’s how I’m looking at it. Being top 10 really helped me look passed on “not being offered a seat”. But thank you!

So I just received an email back saying just because I’m in the top 10 doesn’t mean I have a seat in the Jan intake 100%...
