BCIT January 2021

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else is applying for BCIT’s January 2021 intake? I thought I would start this thread so we could share our progress through the application process. Good luck!

I'm applying! I've booked my CASPer test for Feb 23rd.

Awesome! Good luck! I already wrote mine. Hopefully I did ok. I didn’t prepare for it too much. I did the practice test and read some general tips online.

Oh wow! That's awesome! So you're now just waiting to hear back in a few months?

Yeah exactly. My application status is currently in step two.

Thanks for setting up this thread! It's been a long journey to apply.... now my application is at step 2 department assessment. Good luck to everyone!

As has been mine!! Yay for step two!

I'm surprised this forum isn't more active?? All of the other ones have so many people inquiring about their applications and such.

Me too! My application has been on “step two: department assessment” for a while now. I wonder if the pandemic will be affecting the intake or the program start?

Me too!! They're most likely understaffed but I feel like it wouldn't affect the intake as apparently the transition to online classes went pretty smoothly for term 1 students (a friend of mine is in it right now). Not sure what this means for their clinicals though.

Oh interesting, so the current term one students are doing all their courses online? I figured that would happen

Yes! it was a pretty quick transition too... Anyways, we won't be hearing back until June.. but with everything going on, time is going soooo slow.
