Well at least my application has finally changed from "insufficient" to "pending department review" I guess that's a step in the right direction lol Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer!!

Liquoricetea, have you already uploaded your official transcript? I only took a screenshot of my "unofficial transcript" and I am still waiting for my official transcript to arrive:( It has been almost two weeks since I ordered it!

Hey Cesh, I don't know what school you did your courses at? But I know at many of the schools they offer same day service for transcripts. It does cost a bit extra! But I don't think your unofficial transcript will affect you being accepted. I think they are more concerned with your grade and completion.

Hi Cesh! Yes I just uploaded my final transript last week. Is there any way you can check how long the wait is for your transcript? 2 weeks seems like a long time! It may be worth it to get the rush transcript like Myaconnor said if your school is backed up with transcript requests. I had previously sent them my grades unofficially but my application status didn't change until they received the final transcript.

I actually went to my school last April 30 to asked for my official transcript, but they said that they couldn't print it just yet because the system is still processing or something. The lady told me that shed mail it on May 2nd, so I waited till yesterday to call them and the guy said I should've gotten it last week! He said he'll just send another one. I should probably come and pick it up and e-mail bcit so they know. Btw, are you taking Libs 7001?

No I'm not taking Libs yet! My plan is, if I don't get accepted then I'll take 7002! Do you know if you need to take 7001 in order to take 7002? I took a course that is equivalent to Libs 7001 but not sure if they will accept that??

Hmm, you can always try!! I'm taking both libs 7001 and 7002 right now, so, no! You don't need to take 7001 to get to 7002:)

I can't believe your transcript got lost in the mail! Yeah I'd go pick it up too just to be sure... Yes I'm taking LIBS 7001 right now. I just got the book a few days ago so I haven't done anything yet, I should get going! Have you started?

Myaconnor, I took 7002 before 7001 so it shouldn't be a problem :) I took some similar classes on critical thinking and writing, and academic writing and they didn't accept them. It's worth asking them though, they might recognise it. Which course did you take?

Yeah:( I am doing it in-class and so far, theres a lot of reading!! Haha! I know I've asked you this, but how was Libs 7002?

I took English 1200 at kwantlen, it looks similar to the Libs 7001! I'll probs have to take both in Sept if I don't get in this intake to better my chances for january! But I just really needed a break from school, I have not taken off one semester for 3 years. Time to recharge my battery for the nursing program! It seems as tho everyone has the Libs courses! And why are they soooo expensive?
