bagels, doughnuts or other?

It's my last day of clinical tomorrow and I want to bring in some food for the staff. Would you rather have people bring in bagels, doughnuts, or something else?

I feel like doughnuts have been done so many times and that people are just tired of them in general. Is that true? Also, everyone seems to be on a diet and I want people to eat my food too!!

If not bagels or doughnuts, what type of food do you suggest I bring in to a clinic?

Thanks!

Bring bagels and different cream cheeses. Also, why not some cookies for those with a sweet tooth. Veggie trays are great, too!

Personally, I wooed a BON with muffins and butter once, and it went over very well. I thought it would be a nice change from the norm.

It's a nice thought! :)

I like bagels myself. A bowl of fruit is good, too.

Everyone seems to want donuts at our clinicals too. I don't like them though. So my opinion, from someone who likes to eat healthy would be bagels and maybe some fruit.

If you were really treated WELL by the staff, then any genuine token from you will be appreciaited. I think bagels with light and regular cream cheese is a very nice gesture. donuts are just bad for us(but soooo goood I know). Nice of you to think of them. If one or two nurses or other staff were nice and others were not, then a card stating how much you appreciated their time and attention would mean alot to me personally!

The staff will appreciate whatever you bring. We just love a freebie and we don't get tired of donuts either.

I'd go with muffins. They're sweet, but can also be somewhat healthy.

I once worked with a man who used to bring warm, fresh Italian bread and real butter into the office. Of course, this only works if you drive by an Italian bakery at 7 AM as fresh bread is coming out of the oven.....Copy%20of%20wink.gif

Fruit & bagels sound heavenly!
