backup plan

what do you plan to do if you don't get into your nursing program? will you wait and reapply or will you apply at another college and relocate, or will you stay at your current college and switch majors?

I am taking 3 pre-reqs this semester. A&P I, Chemistry, and a computer class. Once I have those done my plan is to apply to community college in February while taking A&P II my last prerequisite. In my state you can send in one community college application for up to 3 community colleges with nursing programs. I will also apply to 2 other ADN programs in my state which are my last choices cause they are way more expensive and I don’t want anymore student loans if I don’t have to have them (this will be my third degree, BA in English, MS in Management). If I don’t get into any of those, I will first apply to the state LPN program which is about 3,000 total, if I don’t get in there I will apply to a technical school for an LPN and do a bridge right after. If none of those work I’ll probably just cry and try again next year. Right now my transfer credits (core) are a 3.41. The ADN program I really want to go to says the average gpa of accepted students was a 3.4. So if I do well in my prerequisites I have to believe I have a shot at getting in my first choice.

If I had not gotten in, I would have switched my major to Health Administration and then been ****** off LOL:yeah:
