B.A to ADN

I wanted to know if there was a BA to RN or if I get my ADN do they allow you to move at a faster pace since I have most of the GE classes done, just not A&P I & II.

I will be going to a SUNY or CUNY school - NY State public colleges such as where I got my BA (classes almost always transfer) but I'd be willing to do online as well.

I am aware that there are BA to BSN programs that make much more sense since a BSN qualifies for more jobs and higher pay. However that is absolutely not an option because I am unable to do full time school without (or minimum) working as I'm 25 and support myself.

The way I see it I can always go back when I am more financially stable or when an employer would pay for it.

I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

I've never heard of such a program. I have a BA and I'm going to be starting a regular ADN program this fall.

I have a BA in psych, worked for a year and then went back for my ASN. All my electives and maths were covered. Just had to take AP and Micro and my nursing courses.

I would advise you to look harder for a BSN program if you are just starting out. I'm in NY too.

Good luck!
