AVC Fall 2021

Hi, anyone applying for AVC Fall 2021. I'm finally done with my prereqs and I just ordered my transcripts. Now I'm just waiting to take my TEAS before the deadline.

I never heard back.

At this point, I am going to assume it was received.

Is there a particular time when students are notified about whether or not they are accepted or not accepted into fall 21 semester?

@Cyla usually its around June for generic RN program the LVN-RN is before Summer session begins. Last year they didn't send out emails until July

Do you know what the difference ia between the generic RN vs the LVN to RN

@Cyla LVN-RN is for vocational nurses they start in the Summer session and join the program in the 3rd semester, they only do 1 year. Generic program is the regular nursing program 4 semesters.

Oh OK thank you!?

Where else did ya'll apply to?

I applied at Glendale CC. I don't really wanna travel out of the AV so I'm hoping to get in here. What about you @futurern661?

I only applied to avc.

Thinking applying elsewhere is a good idea

I applied to COC, Glendale, and Rio Hondo along with AVC (its far but I have family in Pasadena that I could stay with while I'm in school.) I am taking Chemistry this semester, so in case I don't get in for Fall.. I'll now have chem so I can apply to more schools in LA county for Spring 2022.

Yeah, its definitely not a bad idea to apply to more schools. But do it fast, cause a lot are closing apps in the next couple days.

well good luck everyone! I really wish we didn’t have to wait 3 months to hear if we are accepted or not

I found a similar thread for fall 2020 and they didn't hear back until June.
