@aboeckman96 do you mind sharing how many points youre applying with? I haven't been able to accurately calculate mine since I havent taken the TEAS

60 points! I don’t know how competitive that is but definitely worth a shot! Good luck on your TEAS when you take it! You’re going to crush it!

Also does anyone know how they calculate the GPA? Do they go by the percentage of the grade for example 92% is A-  IDK if I make sense

I am not 100% but I would assume it is just an A is an A and a B is a B. Unless your transcript uses an A- then you can put in the (-) into the GPA calculator. But if your transcripts only show whole letters and don't use - or +, then it'll just be an A or B in the GPA calculator. https://www.avc.edu/studentservices/adminrec/GPA-calculator

@futurern661 thanks I just checked my transcripts. I’m at 55 points so far but I’m still waiting to take my TEAS exam on Monday. I’m so nervous!

55pts before even taking your TEAS? Thats amazing! In previous threads I've seen people being accepted from just having 55 pts total. So, you're already in really good standing. Good luck!

I sent an email to the coordinator inquiring if my application was received yesterday.  Is this the only why to verify my application was received? I haven't heard back. 

Any advice?

They’re terrible at communicating. Might take over a week before they respond.

I had the application sent by USPS with signed upon receiving.  After tracking, it was registered as received. So, I didn't think about confirming until yesterday. I became concerned whether indeed it was received.

I had mine sent out without a signature required...you think I will be fine?

I am sure it is fine. I was just getting nervous as the March 1st deadline is approaching.  For a peace of mind, I thought sending  an email to the coordinator would be reassuring to hear it was received. 

Maybe send the email just to confirm
