Has anyone in MI received there ATT yet? I just graduated from HFCC in May and was wondering if anyone heard anything yet. Thanks.

I talked to the nsg office today and my cert has been mailed to the BON. Call and check.

Oh that's great did they say when they mailed it to the BON? Is it on the website that the state of mi sent in a letter when they said they received your application (I'm just wondering if they will say it on that website if they received transcripts or not)

I sent in my license fee online to BON on 5/4, fingerprints done 5/5 and test reg 5/19. I got a letter dated 5/4 from BON with a code stating it may take 4-5 weeks to process. As of today, mine hasn't been reviewed. Also, on pearson site, it says to contact them if ATT hasn't been rec'd within 4 weeks. My friend told me a friend from Madonna already took their NCLEX! No, nsg office didn't give a date, just looked up my name and said it was sent. I am thinking in the next 2 weeks I will receive my ATT. I have until July 30 to take NCLEX in accordance with my job requirements. Keep ur fingers crossed! I am doing 150 practice questions a day!

Yay I just called mine was mailed out on the 26th of May! Now I wonder how long that takes for the state to figure it out that they have it :) Ha. Mine has yet to be reviewed from that website too. I do not have a date that I need mine by. But I do have an interview in 2 weeks from tomorrow! Yeah I have to go study right now actually. Are you using Saunders? Or something else?

I am using Saunders Q&A and RN 3500. Good luck on the interview! I start @ Oakwood on the 15th. 2 whole weeks of orientation and only 2 of them on my unit....all the hospital policy etc. My shift after precepting will be 1530 - 0400. Thats gonna take some getting use to! LOL

Amybeth, do you mind me asking what unit you will be working for? I interviewed on 9 south for that crazy shift, and they promptly sent me a letter back saying "no thanks" (but it was ok - I already had an offer from another hospital and am starting this coming Monday).

Anyway, just curious and wishing you lots of good luck at Oakwood. I have fond memories since I grew up in Dearborn, was at Oakwood many times and both of my children were born there.

Ha see that's a nice time for me! I normally work similar hours to that now (I usually get home by 2am-3am at my job)

I will be working on 3 East, a step-down ICU, no vents, cardiac focused with 4-5 pt load. I, too, had my kiddies there and the loving care I rec'd there became my catalyst to enter nursing! I am positive my experience as an extern on a cardiac unit got me the job. My classmates who didnt have exp other than school r having a hard time even getting a call back! Where r u working....congrats!

Ha yeah that's me! I only had 6 months experience as a M.A. like 2 years ago. But I do have 1 interview at least...so that's a lil step in the right direction I guess ha.

That sounds like a great unit. (we did a lot of vents in one of my clinical rotations...not fun) I don't have any extern experience, and I know I am very lucky to have even gotten an interview - out of dozens of applications and all of the job fairs I only managed to get two. It seems like most hospitals are not hiring any new grads. Most of the classmates I know that do have jobs were working throughout school.

I will be starting at Henry Ford downtown on a internal med unit with their intern program.

Good luck at Oakwood!

Michigan girl...did you get hired before the mass interviews? Ha I hope so! I have an interview there in a lil less then 2 weeks over the phone and I hope jobs are left! :) I hope they don't hire everyone before they get to me!:o
