Question for you all!
Just talked to my recruiter and I am a little confused. It sounds like she wants me to submit my packet for Reserve 66B in Nov. Then she says there will probably be another board for active in Jan which I can submit my packet to also.
I don't believe that the Jan board will happen but lets pretend it will for a second. Can you actually submit your packet for 2 boards even if you get picked up for reserve during the first board?
Thanks!!

I was wondering that the other day ... I was going to suggest in the other thread to submit for two boards if that was possible, but I didn't know if you could actually do that. Maybe someone will know!

Sounds like you are dealing with two different boards. One for reserves and one for active duty. 66H is for public health, is that your specialty?
66H is a med/surg nurse.
66B is Public Health and yes that is the specialty I want to go in with. But as of right now it does not look like it is going to happen. But with the Army anything can happen.
oops. Meant 66B. I am 66H 8A and from what I understand critical care is the only gateway these days to get in, but of course rumors are everywhere. My boards took two months and orders just appeared in the mail.

rumors also have it as 66E, perioperative nurse is another way in. but as you stated it is a rumor so you need to speak with a recruiter to be sure.

Congrats!! Active or Reserves? Coming in as a 1LT?

Is there really going to be another active duty accession board in January??
I'm going to go with probably not. But you never know with the Army!
That's kinda what I'm thinking. There is probably one tentatively scheduled for January in case they don't make their quota in November, but how likely is that scenario? Not very.
