Are we allowed calculators?

I am taking the exam on the 20th, and was wondering if anyone knows if we are allowed to use calcuators during the actual exam?

For the Teas test, you only get a pencil and some scrap paper. Sorry and good luck to you.

Good day

As far as I know, no calculators are allowed.

Thank you.

No calculators were allowed during my exam. I didn't need it anyway. The math is fairly easy.

No, but as I remember it, there's one that you can access on the screen if there's a math question. The math is generally pretty simple.

My program allowed calculators to be used.

For the Teas V? Wow! I wish.

I got my acceptance letter on Oct 26, I took the Teas around Nov 22. As a matter of a fact, the class for the upcoming semester in Jan was the first class to have to take the teas. The teas is NOT a requirement for acceptance and your acceptance will not be withdrawn based on pass or fail. You would have to remediate if you were not proficient. I took the exam at the college I will be attending with the others in my cohort. We did not have the fancy calculators, but we did have calculators.

It was not until I joined this site, That i was aware TEAS was widely used.

Yes, it was not a fancy calculator. My program does not base acceptance on Teas scores, i received my acceptance letter before I was made aware of the testing date because the score will not determine admittance. If you are not proficient, you remediate. I did not have to remediate.

I was not aware until I joined this forum that TEAS was widely used. My incoming class will be the first time TEAS has been used.

And of course I get a double post with no idea how to erase!

I don't know about the TEAS but our school does the Kaplan entrance test and we can use calculators

I was under the understanding that you couldn't. The math wasn't that difficult. I am really glad I had to take Algebra I this semester because that helped me tons on this test. I have been working on the practice tests here at home and will take mine in January. The part I need work on is the science.
