Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to create a thread for everyone that is applying for the Spring 2017 cohort.
Has anyone received a call or an email regarding an interview yet?

Hi there, I have applied and received a call for an interview. I go on Tues. the 18th.
Hopefully there is someone out there that can provide us some advice as what to expect, etc.. If anyone else is applying give us a shout! It would be great to see a group of us.
Hi,
Thanks for responding!
I also received a call and scheduled my interview for Wednesday (the 19th).
I agree with you Tchownyk, it would be wonderful to connect with others that are going through the same process.
If anyone has any advice, please let us know. I look forward to hearing from everyone!

During the information session they mentioned that not everyone would get an interview, that maybe the reason as to why you guys didn't receive a call. I too applied for spring 2017 and have not heard back. For the people going to the interview, I hope you can bring back new info or feed back for us :) Best of luck!
Hi Tchownyk, did you get any new information? Did they say if you were accepted? if not when did they say you would hear back from them?

I also have an interview today @ 1:30. I am super nervous? I am curious to know how you think the interview process went? Good luck!
I was told that applicants should hear back via email or call between Nov 15-20 of their acceptance. I was also told that they usually only accept 22 students per cohort however this upcoming semester, they are hoping to be able to accept 30 students. In the interview, it was also mentioned that students with a overall GPA of 3.5 or higher are usually given top priority but each student will need approval from all five members on the board to be accepted into the program. I hope this helps!
I felt really good about my interview. I think it went well. I was given the same information stated above as well as information on where clinicals will be held and a bit of a breakdown in regards to what each semester will look like. She informed me that there is a mandatory orientation in December and to prepare items that are needed for there after that will pertain to the background checks that are needed for the hospitals.
I hope everyone's interviews went well.

I hope your interview went well. I also had mine yesterday. I was given the same information as the above poster. Hopefully we will be notified soon. Best of luck to all of you!
