Just wanted to start a group where applicants for UCF's BSN program can go for moral support as well as information. As those who have applied or are planning on applying know, the deadline is July 1st. We shouldn't expect to hear anything back for atleast 6 weeks from what I heard. The suspense! Good luck everyone! :)

I have applied but I will be going to the Daytona campus if selected. I am praying for good news next month.
Yes, same here about the good news. Good luck! Thanks for replying.

Has anyone heard back if they got in yet?
Nope, not yet. Which campus did you apply for?
Cocoa and daytona but I would prefer cocoa.
Oh that's cool. I applied for Cocoa. Hopefully, we will find out soon. All this waiting is driving me crazy. :) If you wouldn't mind, will you post on here when you receive your response. I am so weary of the whole email thing. I check it constantly but I am somewhat distrustful of relying on my email. :)
I have only applied to Daytona and this waiting is killing me!! This Monday is the 6 week mark so we should be hearing anytime now. Good luck to everyone, I hope we all get good news.
I agree. It's kind of nerve wrecking opening my email everyday. I got an email from the college the other day (unrelated to the Nursing program) seeing "University of Central Florida" nearly made my heart stop. :)
Haha, I think my heart would have dropped too if I got an email from the school. I really hope we hear something this coming week. I am already worried about how I'm going to pay for this program if I get in. I already maxed out my undergrad loan limit, so Im relying solely on pell grant, (which has been cut for summer) and scholarships. Luckily I live at home so rent and bills arent an issue. I just wish I could apply for scholarships already but I guess I need to be accepted first, lol. Did you apply for Daytona or Cocoa?
I only applied for Cocoa. Yeah, I am in pretty much the same boat as you as far as how I am going to pay if I am accepted into the program. I got married two years ago so I am no longer bill free. Fortunately, I have a supportive husband that is willing to take on more work to help pay for any loose ends in the program that any scholarships or grants won't cover. I am pretty nervous awaiting a response, I really don't have a back up plan. We will know soon though... :)
