applying in ca with a conviction

Has anyone applied in california recently with a conviction? I applied in May with a conviction and have not heard a peep from the board. Does anyone mind sharing their experiences with ca BON? I want to know what you got in the mail? Did you call?

    Hey, I don't know if you ever found the answer to your question but I am in the exact same boat and still waiting to hear. applied in May and supposedly my application went to enforcement 2 weeks ago. Still not work. No idea how long it will take to hear anything and very curious.

    The conviction matters. Certain convictions are probably excusable and others are absolute bars.

    Northgoingzax: i dont know how to private message you, but i also applied in may and got a letter asking for more documents around the 20th of this month. On the 24th I drove to Sacramento and hand delivered the documents. As of right now no word.
