Any one working at Del E Webb

Hie you all

A recruiter told me about a new NICU opening up end of year 2007 at Del E Webb Sun City. Anyone got any info on the hospital please , much appreciated. Would like to know what your experience is/was like. And also what areas to live in that would not be much of a commute. Thanks in advance.

All comments welcome good and not so good.

Thanks

LT

Thank you AZ nurses for not responding. I guess you are all buisy.

I haven't heard of a NICU opening up there .... and I don't know much about that hospital as I live in the east valley.

I can't imagine it'd be that big/busy of a NICU though as Sun City is a retirement community.

Thanks for the infor. I will post more when I hear from my recruiter.Good day.

Hmm...I thought Del Webb was in Surprise. You could live in Surprise. --I do and I am about four miles from Del Webb. Surprise is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. I work at Boswell, another Sun Health facility, however.

The population here is getting more and more diverse. Del Webb includes a focus on labor and delivery while Boswell has a focus on cardiac care and neurological degeneration.

Catholic Healthcare West has plans to build out here. I don't know when, but the site is around the 303 and Greenway in Surprise. I can't help but think that their arrival here will boost nursing wages.

You're welcome.

Do you want to work primarily in the NICU? I'm just curious as to why your recruiter recommended that hospital for NICU. There are some great hospitals in Phoenix and in the Phoenix area with big NICUs that are busy and always in need of people. Or are you looking for a smaller level II NICU? Just curious as to what you're looking for exactly.

I did a quick check of their web site...nearly 100 nursing positions listed, but only saw "Nursery", not NICU. You might want to browse their site for yourself and see if I overlooked something. Found it at the parent web site for 'healthcaresource'; its a dot com.

I don't have any personal information to share about the hospital or town....
