Any thoughts on a good anatomy book to review and refresh my knowledge

Check the online Bartleby site. You may have to type in Anatomy of the Human Body but there it is...the entire Grays Anatomy in full color.

Specializes in MS Home Health.

Grays is awesome.

Netters!!!! All the way! And get the hardcover, it is worth it.

If you're applying to anesthesia school, find out what text they use. Assuming you will be accepted, that will be one less book to buy when classes start.

While Netter is great for some things, Clinical Anatomy by Moore includes a tremendous amount of additional information as to amomalies, clinical implications, dermatomes, regional implications of the various aspects of the anatomy. My gross anatomy professor (the class not the instructor, she was beautiful) reccomended we study from netter but purchase Moore for our reference and I whole heartedly agree. it will also help you do some self stuying as the text walks you thru the systems as they are being shown in the illustrations.

Specializes in ER, ICU, CCU, CRNA.

Grant V. Netter V. Moore. They are all great books. The pictures in Netter are the best, while Moore provides more information via the written word. BTW, I am a book whore and own them all. My favorite is "Gross Anatomy" by Kyung Won Chung (Lippencott). This book is set up in outline form, which takes a bit of getting used to. It coveres everything that you will need to know. If you have Chung and Netter, that's all you should need.
