Airlock or not with Cortef?

Just wondering what U would do.....got a weird look from another nurse when I pulled the airlock in...I have always put airlocks in behind steroids due to the effects they can have on skin.

Airlock? Do you mean a slight amount of free air behind the med so the track will not leak? Would a Z track accomplish the same thing?
