After MONTHS of applying, I finally got an offer from Aetna for a case manager position. Does anyone work for Aetna? I'd love to get an idea of what to expect during training. I hear training is quite extensive and would like any pointers or tools to make it go smoothly.

Will you be working for Aetna or American Health Holding? I worked for AHH and training was onsite for 2 weeks in Ohio. My friend worked on the Aetna side and her training was completely at home. Mine was pretty thorough. She said hers was a little harder as she was in her home and alone. She eventually picked it up and was there for about 4-5 yrs.

I've been applying to them for months!!! Their hiring process seems soooo legnthy!!!
I will be working for Aetna, starting next month. I will be training in their local office. I understand training is about 4-6 weeks, followed by 2-3 months with a preceptor.
I started applying in August and received a call for an interview in October. Once I got that call, it went quickly. Be patient and don't give up! I also applied continuously for Humana and United and never heard a peep from them.

Just wondering how you all like the job after training and more
'in the swing of things"....I haven't been hired by a company yet but unsure if I should make the leap if the opportunity presents itself.
