Well, I am 45.....

Are you pregnant?

I have seen a 48 year old have a healthy baby. That is the top age I have seen. But then I work at a Level 2 hospital, with any really high situations going up the road from me. So I don't see it all.

Possibly...However, last time I was, two years ago, I was convinced I had an ulcer......Will let you know.....Course, I may be posting a reply from a CCU, where my husband will most likely be an inpt if the results are positive. ....

Can't tell if you are joking or not:eek: If you are, will you be pleased? What about Hubbie?

Edited to say: please excuse my terrible nosiness! You don't have to reply if you don't want....tell me to shuddup!

I surely wouldn't mind, though this old girl is really getting tired. I think it would be neat, however, 6 weeks after the birth of our 5 year old ( we also have a 20 year old, an almost 4 year old and the two year old), my husband DID have an MI...He is fine now....Thank God.... Hey, don't even worry about being nosey, and I would NEVER tell you to shuddup. Just be prepared to offer me some emotional support either way! Can one breast feed accurately if ones boobs are already closer to the floor than some other body parts???:)

You are sweet!

No wonder you're tired,Honey, thats quite a brood you've got there! You are NOT old-a family of this size would be hard work for a Mom of any age!

Glad Hubbie is fully recovered,he must be quite fit for this question to even be an issue for you;)

I have a 6 year gap between my sons, and that felt like starting at the beginning again,so I really admire you with the ages of your children, did your eldest mind a new-born around when he was 15?

You've got all the support you need right here, just say the word,I'm sure everybody feels the same!

I believe breast feeding would be easier-you could pop the bub on the floor, start feeding, and carrying on making dinner or whatever! :D

good luck, either way and do keep us informed when you can. :kiss

I am a wannabe nurse just perusing this specialty, but you sound like a neat lady, mother/babyRN! I am nearly 39 and would love to be blessed with another baby. I hope that when I finally make it into L & D nursing I'm not so worried about every pt's age...Good Luck to you.

:chuckle The mental picture! Congrats in advance Mother/Baby if you are ;) And my best wishes for you and hubby's bp levels :p

Oldest I have seen is 53, with twins. Had a 36 yr old son and a new husband (her age). They said they were waiting til they could afford for her to stay home with the kids.
