ADN to a Bachelor in??

Published

Hi,

I have had my ADN for about 8 years and have been thinking about returning to school. I was wondering if anyone went back with an ADN and earned a Bachelor in something other than nursing, such as health administration. I apologize if this has been posted, but searching only brought up "RN-BSN".

I don't see why not. You already hold an associate's degree so you would just have to take all the classes required for the program you want.

Of course you can, but, unless you're planning on getting out of nursing, I'd encourage you to just go the BSN route. That will benefit you more in a nursing career than any other baccalaureate degree. If there's something else you're interested in just for the personal satisfaction of it, that's a different matter.
