ACLS certification

I think probably you would want to run it by your facility to see if they'll accept it. I can't imagine a lot of places accepting it if it doesn't require you to perform chest compressions and AED usage. I could be wrong, though.

It says it is "based" on AHA guidelines. It is not an AHA training facility. I would avoid it .

I agree with the above. First, check with your facility as to whether they'll accept it or not. Second, the fact that their training is based on AHA guidelines means they're not an AHA affiliated group. This is what may or may not make a difference to your current (or future) employer. Third, the hardest part of ACLS is putting it all together, and there's a reason why the AHA does an online/in-person hybrid course. They want to see that you can run a megacode. This is hard to gauge in an entirely online class. The other thing is that with in-person skills checks, the instructor can hear your rationale for what you do as you're doing it.

Don't take their word for "acceptance" in your area, check first to see if their training/certification is accepted at your facility. I'd hate to be the one that spent a few hundred dollars on a certification course only to find out it's effectively worthless where I work.

You cannot go wrong if you stick with the American Heart Association website. I did their online course and was able to schedule a skills check off locally (you can get info for local providers on the site). That took about an hour.
