Its that time again.... Our ambulatory center is being audited for another accreditation. Any tips on what the auditors look for?

anything related to infection control - the simple things like washing hands, crash cart with expired items, labeled containers. They are also interested in continuity of care.

Patient identifiers and hand hygiene. Also I agree with PP... check your expiration dates!

You should have a copy of the accreditation standards - along with explanations of what is required for each one. Otherwise, you'd need ESP to be adequately prepared.
Should this audit be pretty straight forward or should I really be worried?

What is your position at the facility.....if you are staff your management will prepare you.
Im a newly hired Lead so Im still learning what I should be doing
