Hi all! I got accepted to Norther Illinois University's Nursing program for the fall. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. Ive been reading some posts about how Nursing students have no life outside of school. Is this true or does it really just depend on the person? Also if anyone has any tips on how to succeed in Nursing school please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Congrats :) I'm in MA and still waiting so impatiently to hear about my program. Letters are sent out in April, so here we are, I hold my breath everytime I open the mailbox lol. I bet you're soooo happy the waiting is over :) best of luck to you !!!

CONGRATS! :yeah:I would not say nursing students have NO life outside of school...it is a lot of hard work but once you learn how to manage your time well you will definietly have some free time. I find that each year you get better at organizing your time and even thought it does get tougher each year you learn how to cope. Good luck!!
