Weirdest thing is I thought this school didn't offer Associates degrees. I mean it has "Technical" in the title. They do offer Associates which is what I am doing. They work closely with the University of South Carolina in Beaufort and all credits do transfer, at least to SC Schools. I will say I ran into alot of issues when I tried to transfer credits. I was in school at a community college in Florida for 2 years and this school only took 6 classes. It was a real bummer. Oh, also for others info, this "tech" school also allows you to get Stafford for the Ass. degrees, obviously not for cert.

Thanks for the Congrats! It feels really good to know I am back on track. It was a scary time when my plans were disrupted.

HEY! i am applying to the nursing program. I started nursing classes here in FL at pensacola junior college, (disaster!) well i am waiting to hear back about the classes they will accept from FL. We are moving to the area in may so im excited to just get started again with school!

can anyone reading this please email me? we are military, and i could really use someone to buddy up with while going through school. i feel confident with what i know so far, but its always good to have someone to walk through this with! thanks so much!

Hi Pinky7284. I was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. We are military and are stationed in Goose Creek, SC at NWS Charleston. I was accepted into the ADN program at Trident Technical College. So I had to leave Florida before I started at my First nursing school. Came to SC in March and Just got my NEW acceptance letter from the Technical College of the Lowcountry! Woot!
I am so excited. I will be starting in January 2010. If there is anyone else that get an acceptance from TCL, please post and let me know you are here! Everyone else............Let's enjoy this ride!

I havent gotten my letter yet, but if i dont start this august, i will start next january. How is the progrm so far? i may actually be in some of your classes depending when i start since i already took many of the classes here in FL. where in SC are you located? we are moving to the beaufort area in less than a month now. i cant wait!
