Accellerated RN Program --Distance Learning Systems

Has anybody heard of Distance Learning Systems. I received a flyer in the mail today about an accellerated RN program.

I live in Texas.

Just wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks....

Hello,

I think its a publishing company just like The college network and Rue to get your degree at Excelsior College.

I think its TCN. I dont know why they use many different names

I live in Texas as well and got probably the same ad.

It says:

  • Personal tutoring
  • Only 1 class per week
  • Flexible Scheduling
  • Scholarships available
  • NCLEX Review & CPNE Prep
  • 94% pass rate
  • Guaranteed financing

It is due to meet here in San Antonio on October. I might go to it just to give people a heads-up on here and let everyone know exactly what it is (College Network, RUE, etc.) :dancgrp:

Anyone have any information regarding "Distance Learning Systems"?

Middleman/publisher, but they have in-person tutoring sessions. Some people like that -- they feel like they're in a classroom. Might be less expensive to find local study buddies and set up study sessions!

Hello everyone!

I just moved to San Antonio. I believe the school you are referring to is Western Governor's University. I spoke with a representative. The program is new to Texas. I believe they have a campus in California. They are trying to get the program in San Antonio. There are no exact dates. They are still working with the state to get approval for other locations. Call them and see if you may want to do the program.
