Accelerated Nursing Program

Is anyone as nervous for this program as I am?? :-\

Don't get me wrong, I am so excited but still a little nervous. It seems like during this program we have absolutely no time for ourselves and are basically worked to the bone... I got accepted to three accelerated programs and really can't wait to get into the nursing field but still am a little nervous. Has anyone been through the program that can give some advice or tell us what we should expect? Any words of advice or guidance? Thanks so much!

what kind of accelerated program is it? There are a few different types out there that I know of, a LPN to RN, a Paramedic to RN and a Bachlors to RN.

Im doing an accelerated nursing program for non nursing majors.. so basically I need to get all my prereqs and have a bachlors in a field other than nursing.

Hi! I am also considering an accelerated nursing program for non-nursing graduate looking to get a BSN in Nursing. I am trying to get my sciences out of the way and will see what program I would like to start. I am nervous but you must have faith in yourself and you will do great!

Good luck!

Hi there...I just completed an accelerated BSN program. It took one year - well, if you count the 4 months of prereqs (Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Nutrition) then it was actually 16 months. Anyhow, the program was great but VERY stressful. We didn't get much time off, either. But the sacrifice is so very worth it!! I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have...or to tell you more about my experience. Just let me know
