Accelerated ASN/ADN programs

Does anyone know of any 8-10 month RN programs around the country, if so, please let me knokw where. I already have a BS in an unrelated field, so I want to get in, get out and make money again FAST!

I just finished an accelerated ADN program. It was about 13 months long. You have to have a previous bachelors in another field and all of the pre-req/co-req classes finished. It is just 13 months of nursing class & clinical. My school just started the program and I was part of the first class who graduated in May. I decided to do this over an accelerated BSN because the cost was less than half and I was able to continue working part-time.

What school????

I am in the same boat and there is an accelerated ASN program in San Diego, Ca that is 20mon through Kaplan college and also one through Kaplan University in Florida.

Nursing rocks!

I think it might make sense to go the ADN route if you had family commitments or something of that nature in addition to school. To get your BSN in Nursing with a BA in another field going the ADN to BSN route it would only really take a little over two years. As was pointed out earlier - the more time, the better!

I know of two, accredited, 13 month, accelerated ADN degree programs, that do not require one to attain a previous Bachelors. The programs require a vast amount of prerequisites (essentially the same ones required for BSN admissions). You have to attain an A or B; A to be competitive, in said prerequisites. Admission does favor previous Bachelors applicants, somewhat. As well as, students living in-county.
